Panels and Cues

Panels & Cues brings the information your team needs into configurable panels on Business Central Role Centers. Live cue counts help users monitor activity and open the relevant records with a single click.

Create reusable panel profiles for sales, purchasing, finance, warehousing, logistics, service or other business areas. Each cue can use a selected table, filters, a table key and a drilldown page. 

Tailor each profile with captions, icons, colors, tile sizes and font sizes. Panels automatically adjust their height as tiles wrap, while unassigned panels collapse to keep the workspace clear.

Assign up to six profiles per user, add multiple users at once, and copy assignments between users. Copy cue configurations between profiles to speed up setup and maintain consistency.

Administrators can preview profiles, test filters, create demo setups and enable performance timings to identify slower panels or cues. Separate user and administrator permissions control access to everyday panel use and configuration.
